Triangular piece with open spindle sections on either side of the decorative center crest
Center crest is decorated with carved wooden appliques; right side is partially missing, as shown in pics
Remnant of settee frame including nails and fabric remnants attached to bottom right side
Use for display vignette or wall hanging in shabby cottage and rustic farmhouse settings

Antique furniture crest salvaged from an old Eastlake settee. Beautiful antique furniture pediment with wear and losses commensurate with wear, age, and storage. Thick slab of hard walnut base with decorative carved wood appliques' at the center crown, missing a portion of the top piece on right as shown in pics; also, the remaining rightside applique' is a tad bit loose and needs re-glue to preserve. Finish wear commensurate with age. Long and beautiful piece of 19th century American furniture craftsmanship made of solid walnut; beautiful grain and aged patina. This beautiful furniture pediment goes well in shabby cottage and rustic farmhouse settings.
