Condition:
Vintage Reglor of California chalkware lamp in very good condition with wear from age and use. Lamp has at some point been painted black, appears to be golden underneath and in the curves and crevices of design; see pics. Many flakes of paint loss throughout lamp base, with a larger 1.5" area of flaking on the base; these all appear to be "flakes", to the touch. However, the original tree bark chalkware finial does have a chip and a few nibbles in the top edge. There are no other chips, cracks or damage to the chalkware base. Lamp is in good working condition, as are original lamp hardware and electrical cord; socket works with a sturdy "click" to turn lamp on; the cord plug has a green plastic apparatus on the prongs--don't know what purpose it serves except to keep prongs from inserting completely into outlet. Harp has complete loss of original metal finish and is covered in smooth surface rust. No shade or bulb included.
