Fabric covering has stains, fading, losses and fraying throughout; top painted or dyed red
All hardware is in good working condition though finish is worn and covered in surface rust
No key for center lock so it is left unlocked
Interior is covered in original floral paper with stains, fading and losses
Interior tray with flap compartment for storing doll accessories
Wood trunk with metal trim is sturdy and well-constructed

Condition:
Good condition with wear from age and use. Fabric covering is deteriorating and frayed throughout sides; top fabric covering has been painted or dyed red; leather handles on either side are missing; locks rusty, and no key. Paper lining on interior is in pretty good condition with some wear and tear over the years. Wooden chest is solid and sturdy. Locks and hinges are rust-covered, but in good working order; no key for center lock, so it is left unlocked. Interior storage tray is in good structural condition and sturdy. Overall, nice condition for over a hundred years old; could use a little TLC, but not a necessity for use.
