Vintage Pair Chalkware Young Lovers Wall Plaques

Charming young man courting young lady

Very pretty details of the leaves on the tree, the flowers, the young lady's dress, lace flowers throughout, her hat and bouquet; romantic alternating hearts border the plaques

Creamy, antiqued ivory-colored paint throughout, except for the painted black eye details, rosy cheeks, and red lips

Two-part series, the first with the lovely young damsel, hanky draped by her side, turning away coyly as the dashing young man attempts to woe her; the second plaque shows the young lady has acquiesced, and the couple stares off contently into the horizon.

The plaques vary slightly in size:  the first, with the lady looking away, measures 10.5" diameter by 1" thick; the second, with the couple looking off together, measures 10.75" diameter by 7/8" thick

Unsigned; hanging loops embedded in top back
